As I laid there on the couch like a lifeless deadbeat (only because I have a
stomach virus that has me out of commission and on the kings throne all day…) A
thought comes to mind because I’m going to miss my Economics class; “Economists
are a great tool for entrepreneurs, creative minds and business professionals,
not to mention the investment consultant. Economists in general are number guys
or gals, what is called a numbers quencher. They calculate numbers in the market
with nothing but facts, but they miss one important calculation they cannot
account for, human emotion. (Maybe a master jedi guru mathematician can but
that’s beside the point) A probability equation of a certain reaction to a given
action can be inputted to an equation but not true human emotion, there are too
many variables.

Another great thing about Economists is they are somewhat masters of the
economic past and as we know the past has a strange way of repeating itself. We
learn from certain mistakes but forget others; we plan for the moment but not
the future as well. One must prepare themselves tactfully for any financial
occurrence to come into their lives, good or bad. In the end we will never be
fully prepared there are just too many variables but one thing’s for sure… Live
today like your last but plan like you’re going to live forever!
